About this planning guide

This estimates a full year's company allowance at your current agreed weekly average. It is not a calculation of holiday accrued to date.

Use a representative weekly average for planning. If your expected working hours change, update the average to see the revised full-year estimate.

This guide assumes a full year of employment. HR should confirm individual balances, including any adjustments for joining or leaving during the year, absence or carry-over.

All selected bank holidays are reserved from the annual total, including those still to come. The daily bank-holiday allowance follows your company policy; the default divides the weekly average across five days.

Days are approximate because shift lengths vary. Keep the holiday record in hours. Figures are displayed to two decimal places without rounding intermediate calculations.
